Smell is a standard element in most skin care and with the growing popularity of natural and organic products, the likelihood that the natural fragrance of pure essential oils (aromatherapy) is the fragrance of your choice. Most manufacturers of natural products to avoid synthetic perfumes, but even if they obviously must be cautious with aromatherapy oils will be applied to the skin.
Aromatherapy oils, including organic, can be very beneficial in terms of their beneficial effects on skin and their ability to promote a sense of psychological well-being. Most oils, aromatherapy can be irritating, even lavender or chamomile, especially for sensitive skin. That said, do not expect that all essential oils are irritating to the skin as an essential oil - but we need a healthy mind.
Even in the market for natural products today, we realize that many products are "natural" with essential oils very irritating and potential of this irritation is unlikely to be made, especially if irritation is not physically visible. Peppermint is one example. This aromatherapy oils triggers a reaction in the immune system in the form of a profound inflammatory response. Although it feels like peppermint is soothing, it is not. An obvious side-effect in peppermint lip gloss is that the user always feels they need to reapply for exemption for the "dry". It is a cycle of dependency that most consumers of lip balm flavor of peppermint are unaware. Another example of an aromatherapy oil that smells so delicious, just the thought that it might be irritating, it is hard to believe. Yet one such oil comes to mind - Balsam Peru. With his seductive vanilla-like scent, it is indeed very irritating to the skin known and should be avoided, especially for those with sensitive skin.
How do we know that essential oils are in order and never asked the agency? Surely one would not be an Aromatherapist authentic to the successful performance of aromatherapy enjoyment! Fortunately, in most cases, the appropriate aromatherapy oils used in sufficient quantity so that the benefits outweigh the risk aromatic irritation.
For those who are very strange about aromatherapy However, the following is a list of some of the most boring oils aromatherapy for skin. (This list is not complete. There are literally thousands of aromatherapy oils and many potentially irritating substances):
- Cinnamon
- Citronella,
- Clove,
- Eucalyptus
- Ginger
- Lemon Balm (Melissa)
- Tolu Balsam (Balsam of Peru)
- Peppermint,
- Pine,
- Thyme.
Irritation risk of only some of these essential oils are very big, so they should not be applied to the skin.
Another thing to look like a box of natural product fails under real aromatherapy oils listed in the product (often times they "smell" and "essential oil" list, but not real oils used in odor components). If you do not know which aromatherapy oils in the product, how are you to know if you expose your skin to irritants?
If, after trial and error, do you think of aromatherapy oils are irritating, resist the temptation to use and choose unscented products. You can still enjoy aromatherapy oils in vapor steam or smell of your home!
